Following features are available to use your actual or favourite location in MicroSky:
- Prepare your favourite mobile locations on internet and choose one of them on your mobile phone:
Maintain your favourite mobile locations on SkyServer. Login and edit your locations in 'Locations', then select them as 'Mobile Location 1 - 3' in your
Registration Profile and save. Start MicroSky and choose any option 'Go ...' to get a MicroSky-Chart and you can select one of your prepared MobileLocations or 'My Mobile Location' in your
MicroSky-Chart option 'Settings-Use Location'.
- using MicroSky Release 2.0 or higher you can edit latitude, longitude and timezone on your mobile phone:
In your MicroSky-Chart option 'Settings-My MobileLocation' you can edit your current latitude and longitude - don't forget to choose the right direction for them with option +/-. Select your
current timezone and choose option 'Use as current', if 'My Mobile Location' is not selected as used location yet.
- using MicroSky Release 2.0 or higher you can connect a serial GPS:
Be sure to have your right GPS port and baudrate in MicroSky-MainMenu MainSettings filled before. Switch the GPS interface to NMEA-Format and connect the GPS device to your mobile phone or PDA.
With Option 'GetGPS' you can start the data transfer from GPS to MicroSky. The received data will be stored in 'My MobileLocation' and this location will be used as the actual location for your
MicroSky-Chart. The received location longitude and latitude - are displayed. Don't forget to adapt the timezone in 'My Mobile Location', if you moved to another timezone.

- Set in your MicroSky-Chart option 'Settings-Object Mag Limit' to 6 to reduce the number of objects to what you can see with the naked eye. To reduce the number of stars set in your
MicroSky-Chart option 'Settings-Greyscale Quality' to low. Choose 'Go Local Sky' from options and select 'High South' or 'Low South'. If you want to increase the view angle just zoom out.
The settings e.g for 'Object Mag Limit' and 'Greyscale Qualitiy' will stay even when you restart. So if you want to reset your settings back to defaults again, choose 'Reset Settings' in your
MicroSky-Chart.

- This is typically for using a WAP-Profile (on some devices WAP-AccessPoint) for MicroSky on your mobile phone - WAP cuts the requested Http-data for MicroSky-Chart and results so in an error.
Choose the WEB-Profile on your mobile phone for your MicroSky Internet-Connection (don't forget to use GPRS) and you will get your requested MicroSky-Chart.

- This is a known bug in the Siemens Series 55 dialog system. It only occurs, if you have been in a lot of subdialogs - there is no workaround possible. If you have changed many settings, you
might have to restart MicroSky. Don't worry, your settings are saved on skyserver.
See Siemens Bug report: Memory Leak: Displayable objects never
get freed up after being visible.
